Nice spacious restaurant. All you can eat korean barbeque. The meat is fresh and many types you can choose from. My favorite, pork belly, galbi, bulgogi. The soup and kimchi are good too. Totally worth the drive and perfectly priced. The service was good. Everything came fast and all was organized amd clean. Parkimg is easy as well.
If I could describe this place in one word...it 'd be WOW I can 't stop thinking about how good this food is. We did the all you can eat lunch and got the brisket, soy chicken, basil chicken and spicy chicken. I would be lying to say I didn 't overeat. PSA: two meats for four people is enough! I 'm not a big red meats girl but the brisket was my favorite and the soy chicken. I was a little disappointed by the basil chicken and spicy chicken but maybe it 's because I was full by the time we got it. Also, the orange sauce was so good I have no idea what it was. So...how does it work? Essentially, you order the meats and sides you want and the workers cook the food in front of you. When they 're done, you start eating. As simple as that! Overall, I highly recommend trying everything at least once. You never know what you don 't like unless you try!
It took about a year to drive here from Manhattan, but for AYCE KBBQ that's just $37.95pp, it's kind of worth it. It absolutely floors me that you can choose anything from the AYCE menu instead of having to accept a pre-set combo of meats/items the way NYC does it. But everything in NYC sucks just a little more and costs just a little more than suburbia. That's why we live in shoeboxes, right? Anyway, we feasted for hours and got pretty much everything on the menu. The standout meats for me were the Basil Chicken and the Pork Belly. The Galbi was meh, and the Bulgogi was too dry--so stick to non-beef if you want to be impressed. The appetizers were surprisingly good too, with the best being the Fried Dumplings (juicy and packed with cabbage), and the boneless Popcorn Chicken. Yeah, your clothes and hair will smell like BBQ during your hour plus drive back to the city, but there are worst things to smell like when returning from Jersey.
An okay Korean BBQ place. Modern and clean atmosphere here. The service is great, our server came around often to check on us and promptly delivered our food. Food was it was decent. Kalibi was more chewy than I would like. The thin brisket was very good. The pork belly was good as well. Surprisingly they do not serve complementary water. Need to order bottled water or a foundation cup. It's only a dollar or two but it's worth mentioning. Also this place has a 2 hour eating limit which they strictly enforce. Parking was easy, they have plenty of spots in the back and around the restaurant area. A good all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant for the area. Good value if your group very hungry.
