Reem's - North Browning

People giving this place five stars must have started by getting a good buzz on at Austin Winery next door. : When I went, around 8:30 on a Friday, they had already run out of wraps. I got a bowl instead. It turned out to be a thin layer of meat and a few vegetable strips just barely hiding a bowl full of rice. No sauce just rice and the barest minimum of meat and veggies. For $14.50, it felt like a rip off. The meat was supposed to be beef and lamb, but I couldn't tell one from the other. And due to the lack of sauce, it was dry and not very flavorful. The veggies helped a little, but they were gone after the first few bites. I was very disappointed. I wished I had gone to one of the many other nearby food trucks.

Delicious AUTHENTIC. 10/10 would recommend will be back again. Do NOT skip the falafel. Support local businesses!!

Reem’s has the best falafel, shawarma , hummus, and tabouli in Austin, hands down! Beef and lamb shawarma plate with hummus and tabouli never disappoints.

Delicious incredibly fresh falafel, rice, tabouleh, hummus, shawirmah pita. What a treat. South Austin doesn't have a ton of Mediterranean options; this is a GEM! And you can grab a beer at vacancy some wine at the Austin winery. Perfection.
