California Pizza Kitchen At Barton Creek

It was a very pleasant experience their pizza was warm and a little crispy for my taste but overall would come back for another date

Very slow service. Even to get seated, you wait around for reception to go check with someone where to seat guests!They apparently are short staffed this is what they said 7 months ago.It's not a fun atmosphere. this is so unlike the brand.Vegetarian options: Pizzas and appetizersParking: Parking is common for mall and CPK.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps.

I noticed when we sat down how rude the bartender seemed- she was barking orders to her coworkers and barely acknowledging her guests. The bar was fairly busy but nothing crazy. The bar top was not clean. A seemingly kinder bartender (possibly a bar-back) tried to take our order and was interrupted by the rude bartender who stepped in and took our order instead. She carded us, understandable because we are under 40. My bf is 25 and I’m 28- in town visiting from Kansas to celebrate our anniversary. In Kansas, we get paper IDs when getting new IDs while we wait for the hard copy to come in the mail. We came in to have dinner and a drink on our anniversary after going to build a bear across the way in the mall to make long distance bears for each other. Long story short, my government official photo ID was denied because it is a paper temporary ID. I also provided my expired copy as proof that my ID was expired, and I had my Kansas temporary photo ID. I work in bars and have a license to serve alcohol in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Nevada and have never seen something like this. Thanks for spoiling date night CPK at Barton Spings Mall!

Serving stale, rock hard bread. I’m shocked they even have the gall to give that to customers. Got our order wrong. Nice server, but the kitchen needs a lot of help.

I was happy they have a gluten friendly menu. The gluten free pizza was amazing. The lunch special is a good price. We shared it. You choose 2 items and a drink. I ate the pizza, he ate the salad.The cook used the wrong pie crust so they had to do it over and the salad wasn't tagged as gluten friendly but they gladly made a new one that was.The manager checked in at the table to make sure everything was ok. The server was really friendly and personable.The pizza is worth a return trip!
