Oceans Ramen and Donburi Bar

Had a blackened garlic ramen, defiantly a strong flavour, however, it did taste good. There is a bit of a wait at this restaurant in regards to waiting for a table. However, it is fine as the food is of high quality and the wait time between ordering the food and receiving it is short.

Food: descent. Some good, some just average. Service: started ok. Four of us dining. Half way, after we received the first three dishes out of four that we ordered, when I'm almost done with mine, the fourth dish that we had been waiting for around 15min, I finally saw it ready but left there on the bar table where there were two guests eyeing on it and the two wait persons who stood right next to it discussed the dish with the two guests. Looking at it and I sensed a sign that the two guests seemed to have ordered the same dish, as her partner was already in the middle of eating his meal, I called the waitress and asking what happened to our order??? She apologised and voila... that dish from the bar table was swiftly delivered to us... And as a@ piece de resistance... as I was queuing to pay my bill for 5min, another patron just finish@ed their meal and was queuing next to me was served first in which point I cut in and said in HIGH note "I WAS HERE FIRSTMATE!!!" Summed up my ****-offness... what the heck is wrong with this business???

Broth was good, but noodles not as good, a bit undercooked, spare rib was not tender, a bit too hard to chew on, busy shop with great location with CPP parking next door, that's convenient for diners

This place has much improved since reopening as Oceans Ramen! Took points off for inattentive service and slow for food to come out. However their ramen was delicious, broth flavoursome without being too salty. The $4 mark up for the aburi was definitely not worth it, the standard pork is just as good. I wish they had the egg, bamboo shoot and wakame as a standard topping but they don't - have to go to Oishii for that. We went late arvo on a weekday and skipped the queue but i saw they have a wait list for peak hour so be prepared for a wait.
