Fraser Tavern - North Bay

I love this establishment! Always welcome with open arms and staff is friendly and just down to earth!

So... The Fraser is nothing new to me. I have been here several times in my lifetime. I have been here for multiple events for my friends birthdays. The service used to be so good here. Louise took care of us like she was our mother. Now we go in and this Brunette or black haired women tells us its $3 pints. Which I thought was odd. So we go to get it. Our pint was a 3/4 full plastic cup. I knew something was shady about this lady. What got me was. It was stupid hot in the place so, we went to the patio. She came out not even a minute later. Patios closed today ... We left our drinks and went somewhere else. For the owner. Maybe you should pick up that snow shovel on the patio bud. I am positive snow is not in the forecast anytime soon.

Hi, I am a 30-year-old woman who has visited pubs in Montreal and Ottawa. Recently, I moved to North Bay and discovered a bar located across from where I work. After finishing my shift, I went to the bar alone, as I usually do when exploring a new city. Unfortunately, the blonde bartender provided me with the worst service I have ever experienced. I felt unwelcome from the moment I walked in, and she even tried to close the bar early, despite telling me that the last call was at 11:45 PM. When I commented on her lack of engagement, she simply stated that she had work to do and left me to my own devices. I quickly finished my drink and left feeling disappointed and unappreciated. I have never encountered such poor treatment in any other city I have visited, and I have no intention of returning to that bar. If anyone can recommend any good bars or pubs in North Bay, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

The Fraser has been around for a long time and it 's known for being a cougar bar. If you 're lonely and and over 40 and want to go to a place where people are friendly and the beer is cheap the fraser is the place.

Had a good time, just didn 't realize it was retro/ cougar night. If nothing else the bachelorette party was our live entertainment for the evening.
