Contribuiți la feedbackOur party of four for an evening meal were not disappointed by this great restaurant along Shore Road in Lamlash. Friendly and attentive service with a good menu choice, and well-presented (and well cooked) food.We all chose the lamb (two had the tagine-type with couscous, the others opted for it plain with traditional seasonal vegetables) -everybody happy ! Nice to have a restaurant of this quality in Lamlash.Let's face it,Lamlash isn't noted for its haute cuisine, so this is a bit exceptional.
During our stay in the cabins, a group of 9 of us, we discovered a pleasant and hospitable restaurant with great service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the lamb which was to die for. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
The restaurant at this charming hotel is nestled away from the main road in the town of Lamlash, with a stunning view of Holy Isle. We dined there one evening and were impressed by the warm service and delicious food and wine. The portions of fish were particularly generous and cooked perfectly. In fact, our group of 6 could barely manage to fit in dessert, the servings were so large! If you find yourself on the Isle of Arran, be sure to stop by this delightful restaurant.
The service was good and the location was very nice, but overall it felt a bit unprofessional. The menu had a good variety, although it was a bit on the pricey side. The food presentation was great and cooked well, but it seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen before being served, resulting in lukewarm dishes. We mentioned this to the staff and they kindly did not charge us for our desserts. Towards the end of our meal, they started setting up for breakfast, bringing out cereal bowls while we were still eating. Despite there being only one other table dining that night, the staff seemed disorganized. We later found out from a friend who recommended the restaurant that they had cancelled her booking to accommodate a larger party, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a mixed experience and we may not return anytime soon.
Visited here on a short break with friends, the restaurant is nicely decorated with a very upmarket feel but not stuffy as the staff are very chatty, friendly relaxed. It was a Monday evening the restaurant was very busy so immediately gave me confidence that I was in for a good meal. The food I received was spectacular, stunning flavours amazing combinations that left my taste buds tingling with joy. I will be returning ASAP. Thank you Altachorvie
