Our family often gets ice cream from Oberweis, but we're frequently faced with order mix-ups. While the quality of your product is excellent, the premium prices should come with a commitment to accuracy. Nearly half the time I place an order, I find myself having to double-check it before leaving the drive-thru, which can be frustrating. The lines are usually quite long as it is, and having to return to fix an order only adds to the delay for other customers behind me.

The ice cream here is outstanding and definitely worth it. I especially love the seasonal flavors. The milk is also fantastic!

Employees who blow their noses and then handle items around the ice should never be on the job. It's unacceptable, especially considering the high prices they charge for their ice-cold water shakes. It’s really disappointing. Jim Oberweis, it’s time to invest in your staff. Either pay them better so they can take care of themselves or give them time off to prevent spreading illness to customers.

In Illinois, Oberweis is a big deal. The drive thru lines tell you that without asking. I decided to take my children there to try and we were not impressed. The flavors were good, but the aftertaste was a chemical taste. It was weird. I thought it was just me until both kids said it was funny after they had a leak. I have a banana milkshake and thought it was just mine. My daughter got chocolate and my son got birthday cake. We're CA's latest transplants, so maybe we're just not used to it and it tastes funny because it's different. Who knows, but it was noticeable that I could rate it 3 stars.

Nice place to have a authentic dairy icecream and other shakes directly from diary outlet. You can buy dairy milk and other icecream tubs for home. Dont forget to enroll and use thier rewards program.
