Zapata's Mexican Restaurant

Unfortunately when we arrived they did not seem to have our reservation. no matter, we were still seated promptly. This may be an issue with opentable than Zapatas. The food portion size was very large! However the flavor was lacking. i.e. not much taste.

Enjoyed a nice and tasty meal this evening with my husband. We had a half order of the nachos to share, I had the burrito del mar and he’s had the El Bandito. Great meal! My eyes were bigger than my stomach (as usual and I was only able to half of my seafood burrito. What really impressed me was that the gentleman looking after our table noticed and made a point of checking if the food was okay. I assured him it was, I just got full. We live in the Barossa and we’re not heading straight home so I didn’t take my leftovers. They discounted my main for me as a gesture of good will. I didn’t ask for this and it was certainly not expected. Thank you . We will definitely be back (and I will order a more appropriate size dish for myself next time

Anybody who rates this place lower than a 5 is lying. The food is amazing, service impeccable atmosphere spot on. Do yourself a favor. Get in for some of the best Mexican you can buy

We had dinner here twice while we were in Adelaide food was delicious best Mexican food I have eaten. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Just sorry they are not in Brisbane. I would give them a 10 out of 10.

Zapatas, is the best Mexican in Adelaide. The Hibiscus and the Sopapilla dessert is to die for. Chicken Flautas, and Nachos rock, and the Enchilada's are grande.
