Rex Italian - Norridge

This is a fantastic old-school deli with a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered the meatball sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious, measuring an impressive 9 inches! The prices are great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning!

I visited for the first time, and the food was fantastic. The Italian beef sandwich was enormous and delicious. I also ordered a potato appetizer, which had a crispy exterior but was soft and mushy on the inside.

I have been wanting to stop by this local deli but never got the chance until now. Can I just say how authentic this place is the salads are amazing the Italian sub was my fav. Definitely will be coming back.

This place is great. Upon entering we were greeted and the lovely lady proceeded to give us multiple samples of her home cooked food. Everything was delicious which made it hard for us to choose what to get. Did not disappoint. The eggplant parmesan wasdelicious as were the meatballs and sausage and peppers. I highly recommend this place. The food was fantastic the service wasgreat all at fair prices. Will definitely be going back.

The local DDD legend continues to impress. It's still operated by the same family, and their subs are fantastic. The Italian pastas and specialties are homemade and truly remarkable. The trip from anywhere in the city is definitely worth it.
