Top Dog Classic Coneys - Norman

Worse place ever!!! I can't really give this place a 1. My husband and I drove from Del City in Friday afternoon traffic to eat at this place because of the reviews and the pictures. The establishment wasn't clean. The gentlemen that took our order didn't use any gloves when making our food. My husband ordered 2 coneys with chips (no fries available). I asked if the hot dogs were cooked because they were just sitting on the cooker and it wasn't running therefore the dogs ended up being cold. The chili looked like it had been sitting in the crockpot for days. I ordered the 2 tamale special. The tamales were the size of a Vienna sausage. We were so disappointed. We will never eat here again!!!! Downtown coneys are the best and if they're closed Tims Drive-in in OKC on MacArthur & NW 50th is awesome!!! Top Dog needs to close down, do some remodeling, replace the staff and go over the menu items.

Whoever compared this to Okc Coney Island is dumb. Only other place that comes in 2nd is their sister store in Capital Hill. The dogs aren't old school dogs. Use the wrong cheese. Chili is mediocre. Their dog cooker is broken...and well let's say "very seasoned". None of the arcade games were on... broken? I don't know. I didn't dare check out the restrooms. You want legit Coneys? Coney Island downtown okc. Worth the drive! Fully loaded under $1.50e.

Have been a fan since attending school at the University of OklahomaThe Coneys are incredible, the Owners, usually working, are very kind.

I was really hoping to enjoy this place but I really wasn't digging it.

This is admittedly a very local treasureIt's a bit like Cheers, but with coneys! The chile is unique and delicious.
