The Winston is a nice casual dining spot. As you walk up there are outdoor seating areas with fire pits. I thought this was a very nice touch. The dining area was nicely decorated for the holiday season. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated with no wait. Although I didn’t catch our servers name, she was very nice and attentive. We ordered the cheesy crab dip to share. It was very tasty. The crab cheese combo is definitely a win. The toast it was served with was ok. The roasted vegetable stew was a complete win in my book. All the different textures combined perfectly. I also ordered the shrimp and grits. The addition of the vegetables and egg were interesting. The heat from the jalapeños was also amazing! The shrimp was tasty but a little over cooked. My meal was an all around success. My youngest ordered the filet medium rare. It came to the table pretty rare. They sent it back and it was returned a better temperature. My other kiddo had the spiralized veggie pasta with grilled chicken. She enjoyed it. She said both the veggies and the chicken was really good. Overall we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back in the future. I can’t wait to try more of what they offer. Limited menu, but a good one. Parking around the corner next to the tracks. Vegetarian options: The spiral spaghetti is made with sweet potatoes and although I included a protein, I'm sure it could be ordered without. Veggie options aren't labeled, but could be there if you don't ask for the protein option.
