Land Run Grill - Norman

We ordered pretzels with beer cheese and a half-dozen smoked wings tossed in Frank's original hot sauce. This visit was filled with delightful surprises. The pretzels came out hot, with crispy outsides and soft insides, pairing wonderfully with the steamy, flavorful beer cheese. As for the wings, this was my first time trying them here, and if they’re always this good, Land Run might just become my go-to spot for wings in Norman. They were smoked to perfection, boasting a well-balanced smoky flavor that, combined with Frank's sauce, created an incredibly delicious dish. Apart from being slightly dry, these were some of the best wings I've had in the Norman/Moore area since moving here in 2007. Overall, our visit was fantastic! Harley provided excellent, attentive service at the bar. The beers were cold, the food was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back soon for another round!

The service and ambiance were excellent. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. I ordered the catfish dinner, and it was a huge letdown. The fish had the texture and consistency of overcooked chicken. My wife's loaded baked potato was bare of any toppings and incredibly dry. We even witnessed the table next to us get up and leave in disappointment after only finishing half of their meals. After paying for this unpleasant experience, my wife and I left feeling very disappointed.

My wife took me here for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! The service was excellent, and the drink selection was impressive. Everything is reasonably priced, and I honestly think they serve the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. Food rating: 5/5.

We ordered a take out here. Pork sliders-were awful. Could have been better if they had put more than a 1/4 teaspoon of sauce. No sauce on one of them. Horribly dry. The 46 sandwich was not made in house. Obviously from frozen. Would not try again. Probably good for drinks. And if we had been there we could have asked for more sauce. All in all pitiful. Will not come back.

Outstanding. Best meal and service I’ve had in years! Got the Gator and Tator for an appetizer and the Call of the wild. Perfect. Quail is Smoked to perfection. Trout…awesome! Got the sidewinder fries with cheese and bacon. Mmmm. Everything was awesome. Plus we got two drinks and got out of there for less than fifty bucks. This was a hundred dollar meal, no doubt. My favorite. And! They have Land Run Red! Awesome beer.
