Skrimp Shack - Norfolk

I was disappointed because I expected fries to come with my basket, but that wasn't the case! Food: 3/5.

The cashier gave me the wrong order. I paid $16.00 for 16 extra shrimp, but they never gave them to me. When I tried to call, the number sounded like a fax machine. The customer service was awful. Overall, I rate the food 1 out of 5.

The customer service here is excellent. The food is delightful, especially if you enjoy seafood that looks good, tastes great, and is budget-friendly. You definitely need to check out the Shrimp Shack! As for kid-friendliness, it's a welcoming place for everyone, and that includes kids!

I’m giving another thumbs up during my third visit to this restaurant on my trip from Maryland. I really hope they consider opening a location in my area! The food is absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and cooked. The service is fantastic as well. I can’t emphasize enough how great it is; if you’re not a local, definitely give them a try. The cooking here is genuine, unlike those big chain restaurants; you can really taste the talent of the chefs. Food: 5/5.

I ordered the fried whiting dinner with mac and cheese. The fish was seasoned and fried just right. I added just a touch of tartar sauce and hot sauce to the whiting. The mac and cheese was creamy and made with white cheddar, which was quite nice. Overall, it was a solid meal. Next time I’m in town, I definitely want to try the shrimp, sweet potato fries, and banana pudding. I was hoping to get the collard greens, but unfortunately, they're prepared with pork.
