Mona Lisa's Restaurant Bar - Norfolk

My husband and I showed up this afternoon just because we dropped my car to be waiting on the road from Ford. We felt like we met our new family. At first we thought it was just a restaurant that didn't see the bar/lounge/pool table in the next room. Great service. Will return. Wraps Huge. Our new Ma.

This was a cozy place, good for a game of the pool, good conversations and a game on television. You have live music and friendly patrons. The food was fresh, and it tasted pretty good. My wings had a good taste, but the little ones were too dry, and the big ones needed a minute in the frit. The pizza was delicious, but the pasta needed a little more season. I ordered Veal parmigiana to go, and that was good. The service was not so good! Kudos to the young lady who served us. She knew the items on the menu inside and was very personal. Even if I didn't like the food, I'd come back just to be treated like a license. I'll come back and give the wings another chance.

I saw this place on Facebook. Definitely not a beautiful place. Rain made it darker inside than usual. Two areas: one with pizza oven other with full bar. Extensive menu. The wing teeth were dry, overboiled and had no season at all. We asked about Sauce on the side, but I'm not sure it would have helped him with whom they would have come. The boil salad was abundant as a side. I asked for a piece of pizza to see her pizza. Someone forgot to make sure we landed with a little pizza. It didn't matter for the tomato sauce. Crust wasn't bad. Pizza was free. Waiting staff was pleasant and attentive. We probably won't go back there. Not our favorite atmosphere, but we are.

I chose this place as he was suggested on a local food page and I was not going to come back. I was very excited after reading many good reviews. The service was decent, but the pizza was not good. My men paprika and pineapple were okay, but the cheese wasn't good. It almost tasted like a frozen pizza. The appetizer was fine, everything was a bit over fried, but not terrible. The atmosphere was very dark and dingy- not always a bad thing just not my style.

Ordered a steak sub from a place I've never been, and can't say I will return to. My sandwich was full of some sort of dry rub bbq back far and roast beef deli style... Doesn't really constitute a steak sub but I get how it might work in their heads... 7/13/2022
