Mizz'a Pizza - Norfolk

I'm giving it a low rating because the restaurant is no longer in operation. It has been replaced by Haystack Pizza at the same location. Infinity Hall is still a great option, but be prepared to pay a premium.

On October 9, 2015, we discovered a dirty, yellowed fingernail in our pizza after waiting two hours for it to arrive. Additionally, the salad we ordered was black and moldy. While the waitstaff was apologetic, the chef seemed inebriated and was unable to manage the kitchen properly. Overall, the service was quite poor. It's hard to believe that something like this could actually happen. It's unfortunate that the only pizza place in our area has such an unsanitary issue with their food.

Named Haystack Pizza, we may not have tried the pizza yet, but everything else we sampled was fantastic! The fried ravioli, garlic cheese bread, house veal, and salad were all amazing!

The pizza was excellent, and the staff were friendly and polite.

When those cravings kick in and no one wants to cook, Mizza's always comes to the rescue! Among the three take-out pizza places about ten minutes from my house, this is the only one that has consistently delivered without fail. They’ve never messed up our order, and the food is always ready quickly. Every pizza we've tried has been delicious, and we can’t resist ordering a side of mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, or cheesy garlic bread—actually, we usually get all three! A friend visiting from NYC, a real food enthusiast, was so impressed with Mizza's that we ended up ordering from there every day he was in town. And he is notoriously hard to please!
