McDonald's - Norfolk

Its 1230. I 've been at PNMC since 915 JUST for immunizations for my 5yr old to start school. Overslept this morning. All five kids late... received text about account fraud and Verizon shut stuff off (they 'll fix it but headache none the less... Held my baby while he was laughing and playing, only to be jolted into tears by school shots to the thigh.... Crappy attitudes all morning. By everyone. Phone calls and lost medical records from Alaska... All this to say, my little man did so well, I did what any good mom do3s, and treated him to mcdonalds! Way to be brave kid, right??? Pull into the parking lot to see cars wrapped around the building. Ugh. But I can 't leave because he 'd be heartbroken! So we wait. A lot. Finally our turn, make order and pay at window 1. Pull up to window 2 oh My! There was Delores! The smile on her face! Her expressive 'Hello! '.... of all the **** I 've been doing since first thing this morning, that woman 's welcoming greetings made my heart smile! Bringing tears to my eyes, even now as I drove off thinking about the emotions of my morning... her smile is just what this momma needed today! She made me want to be her friend! Her personality and grace will stay with me through my day and I hope that I will reflect on someone else what she has given me today. All because chicken nuggets would make my boy feel better.... totally worth the wait in the line. Thank you Delores for being that person in my life today. May God bless you sister! And thank you! From a stranger who needed you today...

McDonald's should consider keeping the lounge open on Sundays. The McDonald's app has some great deals. Their ice cream is good. At that price you should sit down and eat a few cones. I noticed that the crew could do a slightly better job checking the counter in case a customer wants a refill. They pay closer attention to the orders on the screen. I miss getting my own refills. A good selection on the menu.

Ordered on the mobile app and our food was out pretty quickly! The manager brought it to us and when we told him we didn’t get out drinks he was so nice and apologized and got us our drinks and apologized again. The food was also pretty dang good.

I order breakfast at McDonald's every day and this place is fast and organized. The only bad thing is that the employees should be more cordial. They are always with long faces and in a bad mood.
