Ikea - Norfolk

So if you're a member of IKEA's loyalty program, for your bday they send you a 10$ coupon (they'll also send you a free cake coupon with the purchase of an entree). So faithfully like a crazy person I go and stroll around looking for nothing but leaving with everything (this time it was my daughter as she's remodeling her bedroom and bathroom). But as a part of my trip there, hours of walking and looking I treat myself to their veggie dog (which is made of kale, lentils, quinoa, onions and wheat protein) topped with pickled cabbage, spicy mustard (tastes like a slightly tangier Chick-fil-A honey mustard) and crispy onions. Listen I know... reading the ingredients one might be taken back, like oh naw I'm good but listen when I say the flavors marry so well and it's literally an explosion of flavors! The texture might throw you off but the tartness of cabbage and mustard with the crunch of the onions... I could legit eat one everyday. Uggh. If you go just try, the best buck you'll ever spend, vegetarians and meat eaters alike, it's that good. (6/5). Took my wife and daughter 2 hours to walk through this place. Buy its neat and they have some really good prices on stuff. Very friendly staff and $200 later we had a cart full and some great ideas.

I love this IKEA… but I went and purchased a duvet and duvet cover both in a King size. Went home and put it together and to my surprise there are no ties to keep them together. That was the first bummer. The second is that the duvet is too small for the duvet cover. This cover is huge, SO much extra fabric. I really love both of them but it is not going to work. I’m very shocked and upset that this does not fit. They are from the same place and both advertise that they are the same dimensions. I am currently on the phone with IKEA now and have been on hold going on 30 minutes.

Everyone went shopping but me bad leg. I stayed in a waiting are for several hours. Very comfortable couches and chairs. Found the snack area (not the full blown restaurant . Mostly self service and paying. Ok for quickie eats. Food was inexpensive and tasty with some quality specialties (Drinks and Swedish chocolate bars! . Good way to kill some time.

Save yourself the time. Order online if you must shop here. The actual store itself is a maze and semi-forced shopping experience. Everything seems to be Made in China and their food/market/whatever it is is just not it. Clean yes. Huge yes. Tons of parking yes. It has that going for it.
