Wow! This place is so great!! We are visiting from Roanoke and wanted a good lunch.

Try the medium roast pork. When I was a young man, my dad used to take me to this place and order me the roast pork sandwich. At the time I didn't care for the veggies and the weird spices that came on the big, hard -to-eat sandwich with crusty bread. Now when I go back I enjoy the roast pork (the medium size).The veggies are fresh, the pork is tender, and George uses some kind of allspice or nutmeg on the sandwich that, with the dressing, makes the flavors come together. Shame on You!......and Me!. My wife and I lived around the corner from the bakery when we first started living together 20 years ago. We went to bakery one Sunday after a bike ride and had 2 cups of coffee and 2 orange doughnuts. The bill came to $12 and I had to go up to our apartment for more money. Fast forward to this Saturday. My wife and I no longer live in Riverview but recently she began working there. We had occasion to have lunch and I offered to go over to the bakery and grab a few doughnuts for dessert. This place serves a wonderful sandwich but is horribly expensive for what you get. I've eaten here for ove 3 decades but, regretfully, have crossed it off my list as I'm weary of their pricing. Again, it's good. But it's not anywhere near worth it.

Rip Off. Too expensive and I don't know where they get off calling themselves a French bakery.
