Carlos Soul Food - Norfolk

I ordered the Meatloaf dinner with Collard Greens and Green Beans. The food was delicious! The Meatloaf was full of meaty flavor and was covered with rich tasting brown gravy and onions. I was disappointed because they were out of many of the foods I wanted to taste which I think really test the quality of soul food cooking like Yams, Cabbage and Cornbread. The decor is non-existing and most people order to go anyway. My brother ordered a Fish Sandwich and fries. The fish came on two slices of white bread and the fries are the typical frozen variety. He was not impressed. My desert was the only one they had prepared, Strawberry Cake, even though there were more on the menu. Every bite was filled with Strawberry flavor and it appeared to have had real berries in the mix. The cook/owner was very knowledgeable of her food and was very friendly. I recommend you give a try on a takeout bases.

Am comandat cina de carne de carne cu Greens CollD și fasole verde. Mancarea a fost delicioasa! Moanoaful era plin de aromă de carne și era acoperită cu o grădină brună bogată și ceapă. Am fost dezamăgit pentru că au ieșit din multe dintre alimentele pe care am vrut să le gust, ceea ce cred că într-adevăr testați calitatea mâncării sufletului gătit cum ar fi yams, varză și cornbread. Decorul este neexistent și majoritatea oamenilor pentru a merge oricum. Fratele meu a ordonat un sandwich de pește și cartofi prăjiți. Peștele a venit pe două felii de pâine albă, iar cartofi prăjiți sunt varietatea tipică înghețată. Nu a fost impresionat. Desertul meu a fost singurul pe care l-au pregătit, tort de căpșuni, chiar dacă erau mai multe în meniu. Fiecare mușcătură a fost umplută cu aromă de căpșuni și părea că a avut boabe reale în amestec. Cook / proprietarul a fost foarte interesat de mâncarea ei și a fost foarte prietenos. Vă recomandăm să încercați o încercare pe bază de table.
