Pinnacles Take-A-Way - NORFOLK ISLAND

The breaded trumpeter with fries is scrumptious - just be sure to order plenty because it's quite addictive. Great bang for your buck and the staff is very friendly.

After being disappointed by the closure of a different take-away restaurant, we discovered that Pinnacles restaurant serves freshly caught fish on Thursday afternoons. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious fish and chips, which were served in generous portions. For those who don't eat fish, there are other food options available at the small supermarket.

An all time favourite when we have family gatherings and no one wants to cook, and Pinnacles delivers a great feed every time. Won't be disappointed in this one!

We visited this restaurant twice, and were disappointed both times. The first time, I paid for additional seafood items but when we went to eat them by the seaside, they were missing. The chips were cooked well but the fish was overcooked. The second time we went, the food was horrible with soggy chips and poorly cooked dishes overall. After a few bites, we decided to leave the rest. I would recommend trying Olive or Hillis instead, where you get what you pay for and the food is fantastic.

The local fish was quite nice and even though the shop was very busy the service was reasonably fast and friendly.
