I tried such a good focaccia. I still dream about it. they also have homemade bread. everything is for fair prices.
I'm Italian, but I'm writing in English so everyone can understand. this is a fabulous place to eat pizza, focaccia and arancini. inside simple, it differs from all cheap minipizzas in the old town with mostly low-quality ingredients. hera ingredients are fresh and the pizza is made with passion by hand. I've tried such a good focaccia... I'm still dreaming of it... they've also baked bread. everything is too fair to praise.
I don't know how many pizzerias there are in italia. but there is probably more "pizzeria al taglio". places where large pizzas are prepared and served in slices and a series of other baked goods are served (brot, focaccia, pizzette, whatever). some also serve other regional specialties.Pizzaquadrat is the place I found the most original - I am Italian - and definitely recommend. the pizza is very good and not expensive, brot is made fresh daily from exclusively natural sourdough and other small specialties - the Sicilian arancini must be sampled - round off the selection. I have often been at pizzaquadrat and have found many other Italians eating there; I think this is a good sign for an Italian in the country. the young are very friendly and the whole place relaxed. just running the few steps between ratings and bolker road, it is worth it.
