Fantastic small Italian located in the Altstad of Düsseldorf. Fantastic pasta and some great wines....

Went with a group of people. The waitress serving us was extremely rude and lacked basic manners. As soon as she found out we were not locals she began to recommend everything that was most expensive on the menu! When it came to the...food there was about an hours wait between starters and main course! By this time some of our party was ready to leave! When the food arrived one person's meal had been completely forgotten about and when it came appeared to have been microwaved and put together in a hurry. Lastly while paying the same waitress decided it was ok for her to push paying customers out of her way so that she can get extra napkins for setting the table! Sadly this was a complete disappointment due to service.

Nice Italian resto in the old part of Düsseldorf. We had no reservation but could wait minutes at bar. The of us got an glass of white wine (not on the bill I don’t understand the comments about sitting at a table next...to strangers. That is obvious when you enter. Average visitors here are quiet and respectful, so no big deal. If you are a privacy-king and do not like that, don’t go here. Service friendly. A bit stressy but with a smile. Food is very good! Wines super!Recommended. Why no After paying with a nice tip, I noticed that meals were charged but we did not had those. So I got back at the waiter. He checked and made several excuses while paying back the we paid too much. All in all, good place with good food. We’ll be back!

I went with my husband to Dusseldorf and found this restaurant by chance. We looked at the menu and found many interesting dishes. We decided to ordered Octopus salad and Winter black truffle pasta. They were good but the waitress was quite unfriendly and spoke...impolitely when my husband was trying to order things on English menu and also served us wrong type of water.

I did't expected such an understandings after so much disrespectful comment about service, but I found just opposite. A good selection of Italian wine and white truffle pasta too, same as time like piedmont. Thank you
