Contribuiți la feedbackBetween two dates in Norderstedt and the Hamburger Norden I had time for lunch. In the area of the Ochsenzoller street I found a free parking lot, there more a rarity. It was 11:30, and all three restaurants within walking distance only opened at 12:00. So I went a bit, studied the suspended menus of Hemingway and Yang Zi, both of which offered a cheap lunch table, and finally decided to go to the Korean restaurant. I lagged the elevator and climbed the stairs to the first floor where I entered the restaurant at noon. Despite the early days, other guests were there, a table was already occupied. Operation A service behind the counter greeted me from there when I entered the restaurant, but it did not make any institutions to give me a place in the almost empty restaurant. I chose a table in the background and took place. A few seconds later the service came, greeted me again, handed me the menu and lit the candle standing on the table. She was very friendly and attentive throughout my stay, took the coats off to other guests and provided them in the wardrobe and welcomed obvious regular guests with a handshake. In doing so, she provided the restaurant, which continues to fill with guests, so that there were smaller waiting times here and there, but they were not unpleasantly long. When cleaning both the soup cup and after the main dish, she asked if it tasted. Food The food offered here is Korean and is quite distinct from the German-speaking Chinese restaurants. That is why it is probably not so much subject to the price struggle that some Asians fought against each other. According to my observation, the prices for the regular main dishes are between 12,00 and about 20,00 Euros. On the lunch card there were some offers between 6.50 and 9.00 euros, always including a soup. After a brief consideration, I ordered from the lunch card M2, “chicken meat with cashews, bamboo, asparagus, leek and onions” (6.90 €). As a drink I ordered a mineral water (0.25l for 2.20 €, which was also promptly brought. Shortly afterwards, the service brought the soup. It was a vegetable soup, hot and tasty, a good change to the otherwise eternally same sour-sharf soup, which is then almost always not sharp at all. There was a lot of vegetables, bamboo, paprika, carrots and sprouts, and almost all pieces still with bites. After I had eaten the soup, there was a small break, the empty cup was not cleared during the time. This was then carried out in a train when a rechaud was taken and the tealight was ignited therein. In the next course the operation brought a preheated plate and a metal dish with rice, then the oval plate with meat and vegetables. It was garnished with carved flowers and a branch of smooth parsley. The very thin meat was delicate, the vegetables were fresh and crisp and the taste was also distinctly different from the “Chinese”. Probably because of this, my otherwise usual approach to plucking up the taste with something sambal was very limited here. It tasted good to me, I got tired, and I'd like to try this restaurant once in the evening with the main card. The Hingucker is, of course, the pond with Plätscherbrunnen in the middle of the room, over which there is also a bridge. The floor is covered throughout with carpeting, the furniture is painted black, the seat and back cushions of the chairs are dark-coloured. The tables were covered with delicately blue fabric tablecloths, over and medium blankets made of white fabric. There was a salmon-colored rose in a porcelain vase, a candle in the porcelain lighter and a memento with salt, vinegar, soy sauce, sambal and toothpicks. The places were covered with cutlery and napkins. The walls were white, there were several Asian paintings with garden motifs. The ceiling was also white with several halogen radiators embedded therein, and there were also some hanging lamps. Cleanliness The guest room was well maintained, dishes, glasses and cutlery, tablecloths and napkins were perfectly clean. The toilets are very modern and also very clean.
