Already on the way, I had seen the lights of this place, and after another restaurant I actually wanted to visit had not opened, so I went to Alberto. Operation I entered the place and found it well filled, an operation near the vault greeted me and pointed me to one of the last free tables. I took a seat there, and immediately she gave me the menu. The appearance of this service was very friendly, as did the waiter who provided me in the meantime, did not seem to have had any gastronomic training. The menu can be downloaded from the restaurant's homepage: [here link] The offer hardly differs from the other Italian restaurants in Germany, but some meals are offered cheaper at noon, including all pizzas. After brief consideration, I ordered “pizza with ham and mushrooms” (6.90 €, regular price 8.60 € and a Cola light. It was taken in the bottle after a short time and proved to be Cola Zero (0.33l for €2.40 . After about 15 minutes, the pizza was served, which was already cut into six pieces. A rather thick, very firm and dry edge went over into a thin bottom, which was too thin in the middle to still be able to carry the coating. Distributed on the dough was a portion of tomato sauce, on it lay ham and mushroom pieces. There was nothing to be seen from a cheese layer or cheese on the coating. Only after some time I realized that there were cheese on the pizza – but under the cover! Otherwise there were no herbs on the pizza, and also other spice was not detectable. It is hardly necessary to mention that I first had to fight with the solid edge and later with the too thin ground tastefully the pizza was at best “All right”, but that the benotation cannot really save. Ambience Overall somewhat chaotic, because Alberto also sells Italian home accessories and the restaurant partly used as an exhibition space for it. The floor is covered with laminate in rustic plank optics, the chairs are partly made of dark, partly of light reddish wood. The tables have panels with plastic coating, there was only one tea light and a sugar container. Cutlery and napkin were then brought by operation on a plate, along with salt shaker and pepper mill and two bottles with chilli and garlic oil The walls were changing between orange and ochre, along with numerous wall lamps as well as picture frames with offer boards. Overall, however, the place is quite small, there are about ten tables set up, a conceptless collection of decoration articles and private pictures was scattered in space. Cleanliness Despite the chaos described, the dining room seemed acceptable, dishes, glasses and cutlery were perfectly clean, but there were several crumbs on the neighboring chair. The toilet was not visited, no statement is possible.
Were recommended to go here for pizza. The place might give an impression of being an interiorshop rather than being a restaurant from the outside, as the...
An excellent restaurant with very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. I had the spaghetti von salsiccia and loved every bite. There's a nice touch to the place, you can buy any of the pictures or ornaments. Always worth a visit when I'm in town.
Very nice location, only slightly elevated prices. Cappuccino and co good.
Eiscafé is again understatement. It is indeed also a wonderful Italian family and a treasure trove for interiors and decoration far from the poststream. Cosy, cute, friendly, open, family. Funny: an Italian course in continuous loop runs on the toilets. Great: The door to the kitchen and ice machine is always open (you have nothing to hide here). Great: For la mama there is always a table reserved that is not given to the guests. Often I watched my mother try food. Short breaks in Italy <3
