Contribuiți la feedbackWe decided to dine at this restaurant based on the Budget Direct rewards app. The restaurant had a different name than the one listed as the Raj of Indian (same location). This was the worst Indian meal that my family and I have ever had. It was so bad that we ended up throwing it away. I didn't think it was possible to make a bad butter chicken, but the proof was in the two mouthfuls my son had before politely declining to eat more. The chicken Madras was at least spicy, and I could taste cashews in the sauce, but otherwise it was bland and uninteresting. As for the chicken Vindaloo, it was the worst of all. It had no flavor or heat whatsoever. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning. This also does not reflect well on the restaurant's image on Trip Advisor.
We placed an online order but never received the food. Despite attempting to call multiple times, our calls were never answered. After waiting for 2 hours and receiving no response, we were extremely disappointed with the poor service.
We have ordered from this restaurant twice now and both experiences have been excellent. The garlic naan bread and samosas were delicious and had a light, flavorful taste. The madras and vindaloo dishes were spicy and had just the right amount of heat, without overpowering the flavor. My son-in-law claimed that the butter chicken was the best he had ever had. The portion sizes were generous, we had enough food for an extra person. We will definitely be ordering from them for all of our takeaway curries in the future.
My subzi Chicken lacked body flavour and texture. It was like it had been frozen. My partners vego option was not up to her expectation. Mine had peas in the sauce which usually sends alarm bells off in my head for a traditional curry. The portions weren't very big compared to competitors in Tewantin. My partner is Aussy and can make a better curry so quite disappointing. Will not return
Had delivery tonight. 80 bucks for stodgy awful food. Every dish was BAD. the Nann had flakes of garlic from a can or jar that was burnt. Burnt garlic is vile! Disgusting, sickly sweetness in every dish. First and last time for us. It was that bad that we reckoned no self respecting Indian would serve that to people.
