Grand Pelisson - Nontron

We used to stay here around 20 years ago, latterly with our then young son. It is now under new ownership and has been tastefully modernised without loss of previous charm. The pool was there then but it and the surrounding space has been improved. The owner/manager and staff were very peasant. My late arrival was coped with gracefully, for which I am grateful. I would happily return.

This is not the experience of the century... I had booked with a little advance. Parking is done on the other side of the porch. A great backyard is waiting for your car. Practical. The building is pretty old. The renovation is not for my taste but the hotel is functional. The room is pretty rustic. The bathroom is rather elementary. For a stage night it's acceptable but the set lacks charm. The breakfast is pretty summary. The entire service is medium, without charm. I won't keep a big memory.

Reservation for the restaurant after taking note of the map on the site. or on arrival the card and the prices were not the same...secret deunfiture.

Which spacious room with separate toilets....rapport qualité prix excellent as well. the hotel is high ... on the other hand breakfast tray is not in standard with a single dish but damage central situation excellent pk
