The Southern Eatery - NOLENSVILLE

Best southern food I have had in a long time. Took my mom for lunch. We both loved it. Thank you for such wonderful service as well!!

Last time we visited we sat for over 10 minutes and were never acknowledged. Another group came in and were immediately waited on. We left. We decided to try again today. Unfortunately nothing has changed. 3 servers and only 2 tables occupied. Again we sat for several minutes without being acknowledged at all. Again another party came in several minutes after us and were immediately served. It wont happen again. Seriously sad rhat in todays market, you cannot even get someone to take your order. I guess business must really be good to treat customers this way.

For a restaurant with the word hospitality in the name, you 'd think they would have some! Hubby and I came here for lunch because our favorite restaurant was closed for the day. You guys there is SO many things wrong with this place. I had really high hopes after reading the reviews. I should 've read them all as there is other people complaining about no hospitality! First off, my husband found something green and gooey in his drink!! The restaurant is attached to a small book store. We ended up being the only customers in the restaurant after about 10 minutes and the whole staff ended up in the book store just talking and hanging out. Then they 'd be in the kitchen just hanging out and we could hear them talking. At this point we needed a refill and more honey mustard. Of course I was upset. Well the waitress could probably tell because when she came back my husbands drink was full but both MY coke and my honey mustard was only half full or you could say half empty lol then after that she didn 't come back to our table or look at us not once so we just got up and paid. SMH. The food was mediocre. Nothing worth coming here for. Don 't waste your time or money because there will probably be **** in your half filled drink anyways!

This no place has a really great meat and three. The pot roast with gravy had a great flavor. The turnip greens and cabbage were great! The fries came in huge portions. All of the portions are plentiful. I highly recommend this place. Prices are great too especially for the portion sizes. Next time I’ll try the desserts.

I’ve been here twice and could not say enough good things about it but went today and was told they will never have pinto beans again and no more corn. I’m sorry but I won’t be back. Meat and 3 with out pintos? No. The menu has shrunk unbelievably. What I was good but…
