My husband and I came here in March due to homesickness during our two week Europe trip.
It is always difficult to find a good Indian restaurant, which offers typical and quality dishes; There is no doubt that krishna is one of these rare establishments that can please the most sensitive customers of this gastronomy. We tasted a succulent, very perfumed biryani lamb. It was a real pleasure in the mouth. The dhal was one of the best we ate. the wine, served in the glass or bottle, was very correct. all for a normal price (14 euros the lamb biryani.) you should not stop at the apparent coldness of the waitress, dressed in traditional outfit. She's smiling and has the concern to satisfy her customers: she brought us in addition to the chili sauce, and offered us before leaving a bottle of apricot juice. The property is well located. decoration and furniture are all the more classic for an Indian restaurant. So, yes, wait for warm colours, carpet and Indian incense! In short, this Indian restaurant is all the opposite of a horror: if you love good Indian gastronomy, especially, don't hesitate!
How could such a restaurant get such a note?! as soon as the arrival we notice a stained and black carpet on the ground. arrive the entrances: insipid eggplants, samoussa warmed in the microwave (hot outside, cold in) barely better. then the dishes: eggplant shrimp with insipid whitish sauce and pre-cooked shrimps (gender those found in vacuum in the super-marche) and biriani just correct. we went a little ten times in an indebted, my husband was born there, lived 22 years and cooking very well. On the other hand, we know real and good Indian restaurants on betting, to the north station. krishna doesn't deserve the restaurant name! Thankfully, the waitress, husband, is charming and welcoming.
