Restaurant Schlossle - Nördlingen

Located just outside Baldinger Gate in city wall. Modernist glazed extension to an old mansion* with large terraced area. Contemporary décor and easy chairs. Relaxed ambience. Excellent food and prompt service. April to June is white asparagus season and they have this as “Specials” with...pork medallions or steak. *Postfix –“…le” is a local diminutive and hence “Schlossle” literally translates as “Little Castle”.

I can only recommend this place. If you are looking for Bavarian food and also vegetarian friendly this is the place to go.

We made a resevation for a Sunday, which was good because all tables were full when we left. Friendly service, large plates and good food. Good beer and we will return if possible.

We had a late lunch here today. The food was delicious, the service was friendly. There is a smalle playground and s kids menu. They also have books, coloring books and colored pencils for children. The decoration inside was really nice and modern. We had,...pumpkin soup, duck, salads and meat. Everything was delicious. Recommended!

I came to this restaurant twice and it never disappointed me. The service is good and the food is quality food. This is a very good option for Vegetarians as well. The ambient is modern and neat.
