Mcalister's Deli - Nixa

Typical visit. The food was delicious, the tea was great, and the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I always enjoy dining at McAlister's no matter which location I visit. This was my first time at this specific location and I will definitely return.

I have been waiting to share my review of this restaurant because I believe in giving them a chance to correct their mistakes before giving a rating. Overall, we enjoy the food here, although it can be a bit pricey. However, every time we order for delivery either over the phone or through the app, there is always something missing from our order. Sometimes it's something minor like a pickle, but other times it's a crucial part of the meal, such as the chili and rotel sauce for the nachos (which has happened multiple times), an entire sandwich, or side dishes. This has happened in over ten orders in the past six months. We really enjoy the food, but we wish that when we pay for delivery, the staff would double-check the order before handing it off to the delivery drivers. On multiple occasions, we have had to drive back to the restaurant to pick up the missing items, which defeats the purpose of delivery. If we don't do this, someone in my family is left without their meal. The restaurant has been accommodating by comping a meal occasionally, but we would prefer not to have to go through this inconvenience after choosing the convenience of delivery.

I think the Choose 2 was a good value. Less than $10 and the half chef salad was very decent sized and the club sandwich was delicious and not small! Very good food!

The food at this restaurant was excellent, no complaints there. I would give it 4 stars for delicious food. However, I have to deduct one star because the prices are quite high for the portion sizes. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of money, but if you don't mind the cost, then it's worth it. My family probably won't be returning since we have a large family and the pricing doesn't seem fair. There are other restaurants that offer better portion sizes for the same price or even cheaper. Overall, it was a good experience.

Sweet tea. Yes. Wonderful! It’s so good their putting that stuff in ice cream! Honey mustard is wonderful. Cookies, great! Only critical thing I will say is bring back the chocolate lovin spoon cake!!
