Sherwood Forest Lodge - Nisswa

Our big party had a great culinary experience at Sherwood Forest. At first our waiting staff, especially Carly, have dried it. She was an amazing server and worked really hard. It deserves most credits for our experience. The food was well prepared. Portion size was great and not overwhelming. Fish was really well done, including Halibut and Lake Bass. Desserts were brilliant especially the fresh donuts. Atmosphere is exactly what you want, clean, rustic casual.

The atmosphere in Sherwood is beautifully rustic. Large trees, juicy cabins and a warm fire surround you. We like to share appetizers/small plates family style. The cheese curds are absolutely delicious and we always get at least one order. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit this great log cabin restaurant again.

We stayed tonight for our 1 year wedding day and had such an amazing experience and service from our server Shayla. Recommend the scallops, prime rib and cheese. If you get Shayla as a server, it is an additional bonus!

The institution has done a very good job to balance tables for all safety. Place was clean and welcoming, staff was friendly and helpful. They stopped and had an appetizer together with dinner and dessert. Everything was served quickly and very well combined. Tableware had great taste and wonderful presentation. Would recommend them at any time!

The new owner and the new menu are fantastic. The hostess and help were on point. I was always asked by the staff if I needed anything. Probably the best restaurant I have been too in a long time. Thanks Sherwood for your awesome meal and service.
