This place is amazing. The restaurant is located in the middle of Sicily, surrounded by a stunning countryside, where you can smell the flavours of brooms, lemons and prickly pears. Ina, the chef, is able to create wonderful dishes with genuine vegetables and very tasty meet. All the food is produced in their farmland using organic methods. Everytime I go there I order maccheroni con le melenzane (eggplant souce maccheroni and agnello alla brace (BBQ lamb : simply amazing. They serve also wonderful prosciutto and salami, different kinds of local cheese, grilled and backed vegetables and a huge variety of desserts (sicilian cannolo included! , all freshly prepared. So if you want to eat tipical Sicilian food and you want to have a true Sicilian countryside experience, I suggest you to try Oasi Basciana restaurant. Michele

Franco and his family treated our family to one of the best meals we've ever had! We came to the gate of Agriturismo Oasi Basciana without a reservation, and Franco generously welcomed us and started bringing out course after course of incredible farm fresh Sicilian comfort food. Everything was AMAZING. Many types of housemade salami and cured meats, smoky and salty, with figs fresh from the tree outside. I could taste the grass the pigs had eaten. For the primi piatti, Franco brought us homemade thick spaghetti with a robust rabbit ragu. For secondi, a beautiful pork chop with tons of mouth watering fat along the edge and milanesa on the side. Then, a plate of fresh fichi d'India. And then saving the best for last Franco's wife made us homemade cannoli. These were the best cannoli we had anywhere in Italy. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and were made to feel like family. I would recommend Agriturismo Oasi Basciana to anyone looking for a true slice of authentic Sicilian countryside food and hospitality. Thank you, Franco!
