Octapas Cafe

While my Mother loved her Eggs Benedict, my brown butter merengue pancakes were barely lukewarm and just tasted so-so. Was still hungry after consuming them, so ordered a side of sourdough toast. And you wouldn't believe how small the one piece of bread, cut in half was. Lastly, the coffee was a bit milder/ weaker than I prefer.

A few weeks ago my meal at Octapas was outstanding, and rated accordingly. So this time I ordered the same thing — salmon salad, but was disappointed. The greens were not very fresh and the salmon was over-cooked. Certainly did not live up to expectations.

Love this place. The service is great and the food is fresh and delicious.

I regret that why I tried only one menu there. Haha ?

Great place to relax after work, good coffee and food. Fast service and nice ambient atmosphere.
