And when the loud music is playing, they must talk even louder. If you like a honky-tonk scene along with good wood fired meats and drinks, then this is the place for you. This is not a couple's place for a romantic dinner on private conversation.
Steaks are great but everything else is sub par Crappy salad. I don't why they give you salsa and no chips. Steaks and ribs are the only good thing. The ambience is a hole in the hole
This has been our “go-to” restaurant for ribs chops for over 25 years! We drive 4 hours stay overnight to enjoy drinks dinner here. We always look forward to our next visit! Best pork ribs in the state!!
Ordered 8 ounce spenser steaks medium rare. Steaks were full of grissel and fat. what meat was there was ****** raw and cold. shrimps were ok. Beans were cold. We were giving Jokos another chance since the last time we went it was the same thing. Won't be back.
We didn't expect this restaurant to be so casual, but once we were there, we really had not set our expectations much higher. Big takeaway was that the kitchen was very much underwater meaning that they were rushing food out too quickly and people all around our table were complaining. In fact, one table next to us got up and walked out because they seem to be so frustrated with the food. Despite this, we weren't very satisfied with our food. We ordered a hamburger, a 16 ounce steak, and a French dip with a grilled artichoke appetizer. The steak was undercooked, and the French dip was cooked well, however, very grizzly. The artichoke was very good. Our server was somewhat inexperienced and could have used more professional training. We still enjoyed ourselves and we're glad we came!
