Moon Cafe - Nipissing District

The food is excellent, making this our favorite spot in town. As breakfast enthusiasts, we were impressed with the quality of everything, including the coffee. Highly recommended, and the staff is very friendly!

We stopped by this charming restaurant on our way home from North Bay to Ottawa. The decor was delightful—tastefully done without being excessive. It was clean and well organized. The hostess and waitress were both lovely. The menu offered a great selection, and our meals were delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I noticed what others were ordering around us, and it all looked incredibly appetizing. The beer was ice cold! We loved everything about our experience. Five stars!

Every town ought to have a quirky café for those seeking a break from chain restaurants, and this is definitely one of them. They serve excellent coffee and have a concise menu featuring tasty sandwiches that come with a salad instead of fries, which I really appreciated. Their house-made pizza is also quite impressive. I’m glad I discovered this spot, and I would definitely return. Plus, the service was friendly and relaxed, which was just perfect.

I liked this cafe. It appears to be a home converted to a cafe. Service was prompt and polite. My son had pizza which wasn't on the menu as with the nachos. They're open at 11 so no breakfast menu, only lunch and dinner. They serve alcohol but again not on the one page menu, they're posted on a chalkboard which doubles as a cash and bar area. The pizza was very good as with the grilled chicken sandwich and the sandwiches came with a garden salad. Portion size was appropriate, just how much food do you need. We would return.

Surprisingly good. Very nice atmosphere. The waitress was pleasant... maybe the owner. I took a pic of the steak I order. It was delicious. A little bar, patio seating, and sometimes live music.
