Keen Kow Thai Food - Ninilchik

I had heard great things about Keen Kow, but when I went there, I was disappointed to find that their menu did not have any items marked as vegan. Unfortunately, no one could tell me which items were vegan.

I recently tried the vegan Pad Thai and Pad Woon Sen at this restaurant, and they were both delicious. The owner, Rick, informed me that all the vegetables used are fresh, not frozen, and all dishes are made to order. The food definitely tasted fresh and flavorful. Rick and Chef Nina are very accommodating to special requests and are knowledgeable about vegan ingredients, making sure to exclude fish sauce, eggs, and other animal products. They have experience owning and cooking in restaurants in Thailand and the US, and are used to serving vegetarian customers. Overall, we absolutely love the food at this restaurant!

What an incredible experience! We had heard from some fellow fishermen that this restaurant would cook up their freshly caught fish for them, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was that we ended up ordering another round before finally calling it a night. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. They specialize in cooking fresh catches of the day and Nina, the chef, is truly talented. The food is freshly prepared and served promptly. The waitress was also very attentive and friendly. The owner, along with his wife Nina, made us feel right at home. Overall, a great place to eat with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

My partner and I love to travel and have a particular fondness for Thai cuisine. However, we have frequently been let down by our dining experiences. Keen Kow turned out to be one of the best Thai restaurants we've come across in years. It was the perfect highlight of our second Alaska adventure. We dined here twice and can assure you that you will not be disappointed!
