Burkes Chicken & Seafood Bar

This fish and chip shop is excellent. They serve fresh fish, large potato cakes, and provide great service. I have been purchasing fish and chips from Hurstbridge for thirty years, and this shop is just as good as the previous owners from ten years ago at the old Burke's.

I love a good fresh fish and chips, but you can't find it in the supermarket. Burke's Fish and Chips has a menu like most fish and chip shops, but the quality of the food and service sets them apart. It can get busy during peak times, so it's recommended to call ahead to order. You can find parking on the main road or behind the small shopping district on Anzac Road.

Burkes may have undergone ownership changes, but it continues to be the top fish and chip shop in Hurstbridge. They also offer chicken dishes.

Bourkes has been here a long time. I knew the original owners, the great family service and created and super business. there have been several peculiarities since and believe that ethics and large food production have been abandoned. eating is always fresh and the service is friendly and efficient. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday night. be ready for a moment. they call in these nights through their order.

Friday night take away, never again! Service is friendly and staff polite, we rang our order through and collected it and brought it home. It was **** terrible. The fish was dry, the potato cakes thick and caked in batter, we couldn't eat them, same...for the scallops , revolting. We won't be going back, time to try one of the other fish and chip shops in the area.
