Biessels - Nijmegen

Quickly: Pork and friet were good salad was mediocre at best. Service personable, but absent most of the time. Nice spot for eating outside on a sunny summer 's day. First restaurant I visited in Nijmegen. Got the pork satay varkensfiletsate . Plenty of peanut sauce; not a great amount of meat. Compared to American restaurants. Friet mayo were excellent as seems to be everywhere here . Salad was small and blah. Had a giant kreopoek prawn cracker on top wasn 't sure what to do with that. It was pretty tasteless, so I broke off pieces to eat the extra peanut sauce. Waitress was nice accepted me ordering in Dutch; asked me how it was in English by the end. Willowy model type. Wasn 't around much, though. Took a while to ask for the check.
