I went here on the recommendation of the Book Inn where I was in Niigata, and they were not wrong. The menu is in Japanese, but google translate app grand, as I do not speak or read Japanese (yes! . This place is a real jewel. Nice helpful staff and a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend tasting some of the local wines with notes of very knowledgeable maitre d'. And the food is exalted. I had wonderful tuna sashimi, which I highly recommend. And the cook an artist at work to see him prepare fresh sushi for other tables. Watching him is mesmerizing. Thanks to Sakura Cider for a divine evening.
