Los Dos Amigos - Nicholasville

Without a doubt, this is the best place for Mexican food in Nicholasville. Save your time and money by not going anywhere else. The shrimp chimichanga is outstanding, and the refried beans are thick and creamy. The portions are generous, and everything is fresh. I highly recommend it!

Tonight, we had dinner with our family at Los Dos Amigos, which happens to be our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience this time. Out of our group, three of us received our meals while the others had to wait. It was frustrating to wait, and the delay diminished our overall enjoyment of the evening.

We've been dining here for years. It's an ideal spot for a quick lunch for those on the go, allowing you to be in and out in just 30 minutes. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is fantastic. It's a local gem with great dishes made by the community.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. I have been dining at Los Dos Amigos for nearly twenty years, and it has consistently impressed me. The owner is welcoming and ensures that his establishment remains a top choice in a town with four other Mexican restaurants. My go-to order, whether eating in or getting takeout, is the Steak Chimichanga, served with chips and salsa, and sometimes extra queso. The portion sizes are excellent; even if you ask for a takeout box, you still feel like you got a fantastic deal for the price. The rice and beans are always cooked to perfection, and the salsa is outstanding. The Chicken California Burrito is consistently delicious, and the enchiladas are mouthwatering! They offer a variety of tasty options, and there's also a bar with large draft beers. If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend giving it a try—it's the best in Nicholasville!
