Contribuiți la feedbackAs florida was only a small, underwater Spanish penal colony, two youngs called jim and nick helped to investigate the country that is now known as nw florida. in order of the Spanish king to seek new countries for the imprisonment of those against the krone, jim and nick soon found a country rich in palm, fauna and nike outlet stores. on their journeys and excavations they learned that their hired workers have worked their best in delivering a plentiful supply of bbq. too long ago the florida panhandle was soon colonized, houses built, water parks jumping up, and before too long whale marts and refueling buried the land. as hommage to the men who made nw florida what it is, jim and nicks bbq rose in the small town niceville, fl. it serves as a light fire of taste, hope and as a center of friendship and as a place of desire for residencies in this area.
Very good eating, but relatiw expensive compared to other bbq places in the environments. but definitiw very good. highly recomended.
The family meal with truthahn and baked beans on vaca. our little loved the truthahn, but not the beans. the call before the trip thru was easy confusing, since no one came to welcome. will give them another attempt when we return to destin.
Quality has always been slowly declining since Jim N Nick's bought out Hamburger Dave's, but it's taken a nose dive the past year. Food is acceptable but nothing special; cuts of meat are cheaper, menu shrinks, fries went from hand cut to something out of a bag, sauce is watered down, items are smaller, and their prices go up. Sadly, their continued existence relies solely on no other BBQ competitors in the area. They charge a premium but fail to deliver quality now.
Not the dine-in restaurant like the Jim n Nick's in Birmingham it was drive-through only. So, the menu was a bit more limited. However, the famous Jim n Nick's sauce was there as well as their very tender brisket and excellent barbecue chicken. Also, the cheese biscuits were a little small (probably because of to-go orders) but were good as always.
