Etcetera - Nice

Place well located, friendly welcome, menus are varied and some vegetarians, each dish is carefully prepared every day by the chef. I highly recommend good pies to lovers.

The store is next to the hotel we stayed. Breakfast's good, it may have been a long time since I've received so many people. The boss is French and does not speak English well, but we have always managed the order and payment. (Presented)

Being a non meat eaters in France, is something of a challenge! So when we came across this lunchtime pit stop in Nice we thought it met our criteria. Not a big and swanky eaterie, but simple food at a reasonable price.Given that this is a tourist hot spot, the Proprietor was more than sniffy at our not being able to converse in more French but did speak English to us. I asked for a cheese wrap, and got a chicken wrap! Having taken out the chicken it was OK. Nothing fantastic but seemed to be used by locals so this is normally a recommendation.
