Delices de Turquie - Nice

We were looking for a healthier meal than pasta and pizza and found it at Delices de Turquie! Sure, it's not the fanciest, but the food was delicious and plentiful for the price. You got a small salad, a heaping portion of basmati rice and 2 decent sized kebobs that were seasoned nicely and cooked well. Our family of 4 was very happy. And of course the price was almost half of other restaurants. The service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended and would go back!

You pay alot for a real small plate of nothing. I asked for some extra souce, but was just told that sauce was for another dish, bad service!

We arrived to have something to take away. We had A salad at 9euro without bread and sauce and a kebab cheese without cheese. when we went back the guy was disagreeable

No pretenses here - you sit on the sidewalk in plastic chairs and watch the world go by in this very ethnic area of the Carre D'Or section of nice (the same same Block is a Cuban restaurant, a Chinese, and around the corner a Mexican). But the Turkish inspired food is tasty and low-priced - "cheap and cheerful" as the British say! The owner hovers around to make sure that everybody has what they need, and you end up with a tasty lunch or dinner. All the entrees are pictured on plastic board, so no need to guess about Turkish names. It's primarily Turkish, but the chef must have an Italian background because there is a good lasagna and spaghetti option! Ideal for folks staying between the rue du Congres, rue Gambetta, the beach and rue de la Buffa on the north.
