Colin Coquillages - Nice

Very small, familiar restaurant like to get dinner at your friend 's home. Just if you know, you will find it. One of the best and fresh seafood teasted up to now. Nothing so easy...book a table (limited chaces: just on thursday, friday and saturday), take a seat and follow the suggestion of the lovely couple of the owners. We got fresh shrimps as starter followed by their so famous Bouillabaisse . Amazing!!!

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews here on TripAdvisor. When we arrived we were a little hesitant as the place was empty and the decor is a bit eclectic. We debated whether to stay or not and we are certainly glad we did. Everything we had was excellent; fresh, tasty and prepared to near perfection. I would not hesitate to return.

We come here quite often as there are only a few things on the menu only fish. Fish stew is good and also fish fondue... Worth a visit don't dress up...

This is a great, casual fish restaurant. George, the owner, is the perfect host. Don't dress up but prepare for good, fresh fish. Served simply but good. Small restaurant so make a reservation. Unfortunately closed in August.

On the Col de Villefranche, the last restaurant prior to leaving Nice and entering Villefranche is Colin Coquillages. An institution of 28 years in the neighborhood run by George. It is where I buy my fish and shellfish each week and where we enjoy dinners. Either by menu or a la carte, its a fish restaurant that has good food, at a good price, served with kindness. Open Thursday to Saturday evening for lunch and dinner.
