Casbah - Nice

Good halal restaurant for people who want to taste couscous or tadschine cuisine. friendly and respectful service aswell.

I am a vacuum cleaner for North African cuisine, especially because it is difficult to find home. I make sure that I always find a good record of couscous or tajine in Europe, and that fits the bill. was not crazy about the baked for dessert (although the tee was amazing.) the personal was friendly and courteous. would recommend!

Too late in nizza to continue driving with the car to var, we decided to stay in one of the classic old hotels in nizza (a bit disappointed) and look for a good Moroccan or Algerian cousin. fortunately, our driver from the airport...originally from oran, west of algiers, and gave us a very strong recommendation from la casbah. we have reviewed the recommendation with the concierge in our hotel, who had never heard of la casbah and had proposed an alternative. we have stuck with the advice of our driver and la casbah has met or even surpassed our optimistic expectations. the restaurant owner gave us a very warm greeting, although the small restaurant expected a great party that celebrated over the Easter period....and we were well looked around. we will visit again la casbah on our next trip to nizza and can recommend it without qualification!

I am not a professional expert for eating, but when I travel, I often try to find a cousin. the one I had in la casbah, nizza, (juli 2013) was absolutely delicious. I'd say the best I ever had. the agneaux à broche, and the boulettes were so delicious, that hates and everything that went so well with her. I saw the cook when he made a break and talked to him to ask if he had prepared the food and to tell him how much I loved it! the decorations were beautiful and I would recommend to everyone to taste the food here!

We had been here in 1984 and 1994, although the ownership may have changed. The lamb special couscous was delicious as was the chicken. Portions were reasonably sized. The restaurant was comfortable and service was very good. Would definitely return.
