So many positive reviews on here and sorry my experience was not as good. Service was good and restaurant decor was modern and fresh but the food was just not nice. It was all a bit bland and tasted like something I would cook at home (thats not a compliment). Salmon pasta was very watery and although I very much appreciate the chef creating me a plant based pasta dish, it really needed a bit more taste. Such a shame we chose Casa Leya for my last meal when visiting Nice.
Usually it’s my top place to go in Old Town. The patrons , if I may call them that the gentleman and the lady are fantastic . They were not there on a Sunday the service was a disaster . I’ve been warned for the long wait before I was given a table fair enough didn’t mind the wait at all , thank you very much , was minding my own business. But in the meantime, the stale dry bread , dirty cutlery, the attitude of waiters and the wait to order a drink not ok at all. I asked for olive oil balsamic I felt like I asked for something so annoying that the waiter banged the olive oil only on my table in such a bad form and loud that my appetite disappeared and it added to the discomfort. Will avoid the place when these boys are “on duty “
