Burke's Tavern - Niantic

Lion heart is a great bar with a great atmosphere and an amazing happy hour. if djs, live bands and trivia are not enough to entertain them while they are cold drafts and beautiful stiff drinks chuggen, then the 2 pool tables, arcade games, a putting green and an air hockey table should help them and their friends. the bartenders and management staff are very friendly and make everyone welcome. many thanks to the owners blake for a great local bar that I like to consider my own.

Looking for a clean, cozy place, they can actually hear the person they meet or meet and a talk with new nice people. service and eating are perfect the lionheart burger is my favorite and the riders are excellent. (I usually don't eat pommes, but they are wonderful)

Stopped in on a whim the other night. Needed a place to chill by myself and relax for a few. Bar seemed appropriate for a quiet night out. I was surprised at the food quality. I got the Philly steak and it was presented nicely on a plate on a sourdough roll. Was very good, better than the usual pub gub I've come to expect from similar places. My only complaint is that the beer was kinda warm and the selection wasn't to my preference. By kinda warm I mean really warm, but I can't fault them really for the beer selection, just not my thing. I'd definitely go back because the food really exceeded my expectations and honestly it's just a cool little pub.

This bar was nicely cleaned up by the new owner, the trash left and idk how he did it but nicely done ... It is cleaner, better environment and better music. I apologize for my bad review last year. That was a personal issue with one of the bartenders. I am a renowned supermodel and try to live quietly in Niantic, but this bartender wanted to wreck havoc in my life, and she succeeded. That is NOT the bar owners fault, espeically seeing as he cleaned up the place so nicely. He kept all the previous staff, and sooner than later will find out she cares about one thing and that one thing is money. Why she was jealous of me... She has NO personality and doesn 't belong there, but that 's just explaining my last review. The rest of the bartenders are KIND and HONEST, and would 've explained to the owner that what I 'was being accused of ' has never happened in the eleven years I have been drinking there. I had not drank any more or less than I always do, three x a week. SO I was just very offended. I am sorry for the bad review, and I hope this one can put some of the issues to rest. This bar is a fun place to go with all the games they have, but the service was poor. We went in a Saturday night with one girl bartending but it wasn't that busy and it took forever to ask for a drink. We watched her count her tip money, fill her water bottle with water and lemon wedges, watch her clean glasses and then help people who were there after us before she finally came to take our order... multiple times. We had a party of 7 people and she would get one of our orders and then just walk away even though we were sitting there with money in our hand obviously trying to get a drink. I would understand if it was busy, but there's no reason we should be sitting there waiting 20 minutes to ask for a drink
