What a fun night. We went for the first time last Thursday. It's Cafeteria style with friendly volunteers serving v Delicious haddock and chips and great Cracked Canoe beer. Can't beat the price. One of NOTL's little surprises mainly for the locals. We had great fun. Crowded because of the value and best fish and chips in NOTL. Well done NOTL Legion. We'll be there again soon.

Each Friday evening this is the place to go for your meal of Fish and Chips done the traditional way. I'm sure the proceeds of the meal go to good Legion causes.

All you can eat mussels with bread every Tuesday for $10! Worth the visit for the mussels only, buttermilk chicken was great for your non-mussel fans! Can't beat this deal!!

Upon reaching NOTL, we called the Legion to see if they were open during our visit. We were told that the group was lively and ready for visitors. When we arrived, we were so pleased to discover that two members had waited to meet us and welcome us to NOTL. What a wonderful way to introduce us to the community! They even gave us some cool tomatoes to use for seed in our garden next year... We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We visited Niagara on the Lake, staying at a B and B. Around supper time we looked on the internet for a place to dine. Lots of expensive dinner places and we were not that hungry to pay so much. Just happened to find out that the local Legion had a Fish Fry every Thursday night. We walked to it from downtown, in the rain, and thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chip dinner along with a few bar drinks. The halibut fish was very tasty and the fries were quite good as well. Less than $10 per meal. Also you are helping this Legion financially. We support Legions whenever we travel to places away from home.
