Corks Restaurant - Niagara On The Lake

The worst meal we have ever had there. We have been several times in past years, but will never return. The Yager Schnitzel was over cooked and tasteless. The salad was wilted and the potatoes looked like last nights. And the portion was shameful. My Maple Glazed Salmon was dry and I had to ask the server if they forgot the Maple glaze. Rice was tasteless and salad from a bag and definitely not fresh. Our beer was refreshing but overall a pretty sad experience for $80.00 plus tip.

We dropped in here for lunch. The view was awesome and the food was good. I was a bit apprehensive as there were mixed reviews for this establishment but I have to say our meals were just fine. Wasn't too expensive either!

Location is great and we sat on the porch overlooking the street so had the joy of people watching as we ate our meal. Unfortunately, the location was the highlight of our meal Nothing we had was particularly bad. I’d just say we were underwhelmed. Basically “OK” sums up the food. Our service was great though. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day?

The portions are small for the price, dishes poorly prepared and coffee served cold and was told they will microwave the coffee.

The restaurant's front porch is charmingly enclosed, and they have a nicely sized bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The drink options were great and the food was delicious.
