Firehall Flame - Niagara-on-the-Lake

We only stopped here for a coffee and a cake and sat outside.The cake was apple tart and it was delicious.Other people's food look good eg meatballs and spaghetti.Service was fast and staff who were very casually dressed and chatty seemed nice.Good view over the falls and we enjoyed our last stop before going to the airport and home.

My son ordered the ribs and they were horrible! Full of gristle and fat. Meat was undercooked and inedible. They tried to cover them with a thick coating of barbeque sauce that looked like vomit! The meal was supposed to come with fries but instead came with oil soaked potatoes. The coleslaw...if that what it was, was wilted lettuce and dried chunks of old celery. He felt terrible for wasting our money on his meal that he cried at the table. The staff had zero remorse for him. Disgusting food, disgusting service. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place should be shut down by the health department!

I ordered the Smoke Brisket Poutine. The brisket was tender, juicy, smokey, flavorful and so much more. The poutine was hot, and fries were crunchy. They used shredded cheese and not curds but it was so amazing. Their small menu really makes it easy to choose. The burgers are also AMAZING.

Absolutely horrible place! Customer service was awful, place was SWARMING with fruit flies, it was all over the food and drinks. When asking the server about it, she gave a rude and unapologetic comment, and did not address the issue at all. Incredibly unhygienic and gross conditions.

We were waiting to be seated. A lady who was not a waitress approached us and asked where we would like to be, either patio or inside. We though wherever. So she looked at us, blankly and her stare was a bit of a ‘so what. Can’t you see tables? Choose yourself’The waitress was nice and very gentle. She was really good at her duty. The food however was not good. My husband had a beef burger and i had a lobster burger. So disappointed with how dry the beef patty was. It was cold. The lobster burger, I was wondering if I had any lobster in there as I could not taste any. But I could see shredded Crab sticks in there. What a waste of money. The buns were dry and hard and definitely not fresh. Never going there again.
